Jacqueline, a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and former Nurse Practitioner with 33 years of experience, has authored an upcoming book on delayed grief, sharing her insights and guiding those with unresolved emotional pain.

Jacqueline, one of six siblings, grew up in Chisholm, Minnesota, nestled within the Mesabi Iron Range. Her life was marred by significant losses; beyond her son Ian, she mourned the passing of two brothers—one in a tragic hunting accident, and the other due to chronic illness. Alongside these, she also experienced the departure of both parents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wrestling with profound grief from an early age, Jacqueline struggled to find resources capable of elucidating her emotions. Her personal encounter with delayed grief catalyzed a journey of exploration, leading her to seek tools and insights to navigate her complex feelings. This process ignited her passion to share her narrative, with the aim of offering a support system for others during times of distress, ensuring they need not confront their grief in isolation.
